Morphology:
- Black Pastel
- Incomplete Dominant
Black Pastel: While extremely similar to the Cinnamon trait, Black Pastels are a separate lineage with the same manner of co-dominant inheritance. Black Pastels are high contrast animals, with distinct black background coloration & gold or rust colored patterning. Black Pastels tend to exhibit less fading throughout the {GL=lateral} markings than the Cinnamon trait, and the {GL=dorsal} pattern may be striped, broken, or greatly reduced. When two Black Pastels are bred together, resulting {GL=homozygous} animals are a dark, dusky black with a white, unmarked belly.
